Aisling Lane

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Aisling is an Irish Physiotherapist who moved to Sydney in March 2023. She graduated from a Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy Degree at the Institute of Technology Carlow in 2017. Here she developed a variety of diagnostic skills and treatment techniques to help manage a wide range of complaints. She then went on to complete her Masters degree in Physiotherapy in Manchester Metropolitan University, where she was awarded a funded place to complete her studies. This has allowed her to practice in a wider range of areas including Oncology, Neuro and Paediatrics. Since graduating, Aisling has worked mainly in a variety of private practices in Ireland with both adults and paediatrics, she has also worked publicly in paediatric disabilities and has also spent some time working in corporate settings. Over the last few years, she has been upskilling in women’s health physiotherapy and wishes to continue to expand on this here in Australia.

She has a huge interest in the management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries and strongly believes in the exercise rehabilitation approach to patient care. She uses a mixture of hands-on techniques alongside patient education and self-management to treat her patients.

Aisling has extensive experience working in sports and has worked with a variety of teams at both junior and senior levels. She has also worked across the University College of Cork’s sports teams.

She is a fully qualified Pilates instructor trained under the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and is fully trained in Dry Needling, both of which she uses when treating patients to help reduce pain and improve function.
