Grace Lynch

SPORT & EXERCISE SCIENTIST | ENDURANCE COACH

Grace is a Sport & Exercise Scientist, endurance coach, and international endurance athlete with over seven years’ experience working across athlete development, performance coaching, and rehabilitation-informed training.

Originally from County Kerry, Ireland, Grace holds a First Class Honours BSc in Sport & Exercise Science, is a Level 2 accredited Endurance Coach with Sport Ireland, and has additional training in neuromuscular therapy. Her work bridges performance, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and long-term athlete development, helping individuals train smarter while enjoying the process.

Before relocating to Sydney in 2025, Grace worked with the Athletics Association of Ireland, most recently as an Athlete Development Manager. In this role she helped design national athlete development pathways, led provincial squad camps supporting over 800 athletes and 60+ coaches, contributed to RED-S education initiatives, and assisted with the 2024–2028 strategic development plan for Irish athletics.

Alongside her professional career, Grace has competed internationally for Ireland across distances from 5km to marathon. She has trained at altitude in Kenya, France, and South Africa, and achieved a 2:36 marathon personal best at the 2024 Dublin Marathon, finishing as the third Irish female. Now based in Australia, she is also a TCS Sydney Marathon Ambassador, supporting the growth of the endurance community and helping athletes prepare for one of the world’s leading marathon events.

Having experienced significant injury and rehabilitation during her career, Grace takes a health-first approach to performance. Her philosophy focuses on aligning training load, recovery, strength, hormonal health, lifestyle, and mindset to build sustainable performance and long-term resilience.
