Physiotherapy in Bronte
Limitless Physiotherapy Bronte offers a specialised approach focused on identifying the root source of your pain or below-par performance.
Quite often the source of the problem or “driver” can be far away from the site of pain.
Longer, One on one, full-body assessments enable us to find this “driver” and teach you how to correct any imbalances and to move more efficiently.
Identifying the “driver” is particularly important in complex pathologies that have not responded to treatment focused purely on the site of pain.
The treatment you receive at Limitless Physiotherapy Bronte will be multi-faceted with a strong focus on manual therapy techniques including soft tissue release, muscle energy, mobilisation, dry needling, and taping.
Each session, you will have a “hands-on” treatment followed by one-on-one exercises and the use of our Pilates equipment.
This combination of physio and Pilates at each visit will promote you taking an active part in your rehabilitation, putting you on the path of self-management and enabling you to fulfill your body’s potential.
Heal. Move. Feel Strong.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What should I expect from my first appointment?
At your first physiotherapy appointment, we take the time to understand your unique needs. Our sessions are longer than standard appointments because we believe in a thorough, individualised approach. Your session will begin with a detailed discussion about your current concerns, past injuries, and movement patterns. This verbal and physical assessment helps us identify the underlying causes of your issue, not just the symptoms. We focus on how your body moves, what areas may not be functioning optimally, and how these contribute to your pain or limitations. Using video feedback analysis of movement assessments, we pinpoint key areas that need attention. Our goal is to provide immediate improvements while also developing a long-term plan tailored to your needs. Treatment may involve hands-on techniques, dry needling, or targeted exercises to improve mobility and strength. You'll also receive a personalised exercise program to reinforce new movement patterns and support lasting recovery. Every person, injury, and journey is unique—our approach ensures you receive care that’s specific to you, helping you move better, feel stronger, and achieve your goals.
2. How long is a session?

3. What should I bring to my first appointment?
Just bring yourself! If you have any relevant documents, such as a doctor’s referral or imaging reports, feel free to bring them along. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, as your session may involve physical assessments and exercises. If you’re using private health insurance, bring your card so we can process your rebate on the spot through our HICAPS terminal.
4. Do I need a referral?
No, a referral is not required to see a physiotherapist. However, a referral may be necessary in certain cases:
- Medicare (EPC/CDM Plans): Requires a GP referral.
- Insurance Claims (e.g. WorkCover/TAC): A referral helps streamline claims.
Bring your claim number and insurer approval to your first appointment if applicable.
5. Am I covered by private health insurance?
Physiotherapy is covered under “Extras.” Coverage varies, so confirm with your provider before attending.
6. Do you accept Medicare referrals?
Yes, under EPC or CDM programs with a GP referral. Medicare doesn’t cover the full cost but allows you to claim a rebate. Ask your GP about your eligibility.
